Sales Tip #1
The Comfort Zone.
Let's define it, first of all. It's the zone we're happy to work in during our
sales presentation;
the way that we work, the phrases that we use,
the
closes that we try ..... in other words, the whole presentation is second nature to us -
it's all quite comfortable.
Working outside it is going into uncharted territory. Not as comfortable as the zone that we know well, but possibly much more effective.
Let's ask a few questions.
Did you stay within your comfort zone for the
sales presentation and
the close, hoping to clinch it with a
bit of charm?

Staying comfortable but NOT CLOSING
the sale doesn't help your bank balance nor your ego.
Climb out of your comfort zone. Sweat a little. Or better still....sweat a lot!
Remember the time honoured 9-dot exercise I'm sure we've
all seen it before. If not, try it now.
Join all the dots with just 4 straight lines,
without lifting the pen from the paper (or the felt-tip from the computer monitor!)
Whilst you may say "Ah, I know how to do
this" - how many times do you
actually WORK
outside of your comfort zone on appointments?

If you keep within the confines of the perimeter - (the comfort zone) - the 9 dot exercise is impossible.
If you go outside it, the solution is clear.
Working outside the comfort zone, just a little, can produce phenomenal results....

Break free from the restrictions and limitations of the
"comfort zone".
